The Rotary Club of Andover supports the Andover Center for History and Culture's nature and Indigenous history project. The Center's new curriculum includes research at the Retelle Reservation in conjunction with the Town of Andover and Andover Village Improvement Society -AVIS. As the program evolves the curriculum approach is to provide multiple entry points into the Native American topic based on age, interest level, and desire to learn. At the 4th-grade elementary school level the Center will be presenting Native American history and undertaking an archaeology floor activity at all five of the town's elementary schools. |
