Motivation to achieve goals
Jan 18, 2017
Russ Cooke is a motivational speaker that uses his background as a former NFL player and also Boston coach to now CEO to motivation individuals to achieve their goals. “ GOING TO THE EDGE “ Perseverance, dedication and hard work led to the fulfillment of a dream shared by untold millions of men and women. I was a professional athlete…signed to a three-year contract to play linebacker in the National Football League for the team I’d idolized since childhood…the New York Jets. And then it all ended with one explosive hit. A major concussion…sadly my fifth…ended my football career before I ever got to play a down in a real game. Many, if not most, would have quit on the game of life right then and there. But instead, that was when my “professional” career actually began. Beginning with few prospects post-football, I applied the same principles learned on the football field to power a career that took me from pumping gas to one of the most prestigious boardrooms in the world….from washing windshields to creating and promoting a worldwide brand in the form of Boston Coach, a Fidelity Investments Company that redefined the sedan-livery industry as it grew to a self-sustaining, multi-million dollar organization. Yet I will tell you that my story is not unique. I’ll explain how we all find obstacles as we play our individual roles in the game of life. I’ll talk about what it takes to see roadblocks as hurdles…how the same level of perseverance, dedication andhard work, combined with a team-oriented mentality, can propel anyone to that seemingly unattainable “next level” of play…how what seems like a game-ender can be, with the right attitude, simply a game changer…and how, in the end, it’s about achieving success as you define it and then redefine it throughout your life. Football, to some degree, will be a key metaphor. That’s because this was my experience. But my message extends to a much broader audience than athletes. Because whether lessons are learned in sports or music or any other endeavor, we all have the internal ability to apply our experiences and knowledge to creating a path to success. To find out how I can inspire you and your target audience, contact me today! Russell S. Cooke |

Into Action Recovery
Feb 24, 2017
David Hanley of Into Action Recovery, recently lost his brother to an overdose. His mom, her sister, and he are trying to open a 12-step home in Lowell and were going to be part of the expanded funding from the state before Baker cut the expansion. That has put this project on hold indefinitely until they can raise the difference. http://www.lowellsun.com/ |

"Because of You, We Live"
May 17, 2017
Len Sander is author of Because of You, We Live, the story of an incredible World War II couple - George Stalnaker, an American pilot forced to parachute out of his crippled bomber after destroying the last bridge the Nazis could use to reinforce troops at Normandy, and Simone de Cruzel, a member of the French Underground and spy for Britain who was captured and imprisoned after her identity was compromised. George and Simone manage to survive, meet, and fall in love. They may have been born world apart but they were alike in one important way – heroism was in their DNA!
